About Shawn McCarty – Your Local Insurance Agent in Fairfield, Iowa

Born and raised in Fairfield, IA, and an Iowa Wesleyan College alumnus, I understand the unique needs of our community. Since opening my State Farm Insurance office in January 2013, I have proudly served Fairfield and all of Iowa with a full range of insurance products including auto, home, renters, life, boaters, motorcycle, RV, ATV, farm & ranch insurance, plus financial services.

Before becoming an insurance agent, I gained valuable experience working at Dexter Foundry and Motorola. Outside the office, I enjoy the outdoors and spending time on our family cattle farm here in Fairfield. I’m also an active member of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, Elk’s Club, and Lion’s Club, and a passionate supporter of local sports like the Fairfield Trojans and Iowa Hawkeyes.
